Play Classic Golf Courses of the Emerald Isle With PerryGolf™

Ireland’s golf reputation is legendary. The beautiful rolling hills and stunning coastline of the Emerald Isle make its courses a dream for players, while history buffs can lose themselves in centuries of golf tradition and tales.

Your Ireland golf voyage with Azamara® begins in Dublin at Portmarnock Links. Play a round at this championship course designed by Bernard Langer, stroll Trinity College, tour the Guinness Storehouse, and enjoy a late-night pint (or two) in the Temple Bar district.
From here, we make our way to the courses of Northern Ireland, starting with Royal County Down Golf Club, a fixture among the world’s top 10 clubs. You’ll also play at the renowned Royal Portrush Golf Club, host of the 2019 British Open.

Next, it’s the seaside pubs and charming city center of Donegal, followed by Galway’s brightly colored shops and restaurants, and the historic port of Foynes—where the Cliffs of Moher and the most famous links in Ireland, Ballybunion’s Old Course, are waiting for you.

Bantry Harbour is next, where some of Ireland’s best hiking trails and most stunning scenery await.
Then we’re off for a late stay in Cork to kiss the Blarney Stone for luck before playing the Old Head Golf Links, home to one of the most striking settings in the game.

The golf may be over, but there’s plenty more to see, including an overnight stop in Waterford—Ireland’s oldest city. You can’t leave here without taking home a piece or two of its iconic crystal. The next morning, we’ll arrive in Dartmouth, England for Mayflower 400, a celebration of the iconic ship’s voyage to the New World. We conclude in Southampton, where Bath, Stonehenge, and Cornwall are waiting to be explored after your Ireland-intensive journey.
