After a day spent sailing, arrive in always-fun-to-say Mooloolaba for a late stay. Dine on world-class cuisine at the Mooloolaba Esplanade, visit the Australia Zoo, or pop over to the nearby city of Brisbane.
Spend the next day at sea soaking in luxurious treatments at Sanctum Spa, then it’s on to Airlie Beach in Central Queensland. In a perpetual state of vacation, and with the Great Barrier Reef on its doorstep, plan for a day of basking in the sun here. An overnight in Cairns gives you ample time to discover its almost-endless tropical wonders. Explore the Daintree Rainforest and take the Skyrail Cable way to the village of Kuranda—a wildlife lover’s dream.
After another sea day we call on two ports in picture-perfect Papua New Guinea. The remote paradise of Alotau played a pivotal role in WWII, and is brimming with beautiful biodiversity, while Madang is a small village that’s big on natural wonder. Visit the rainforest museum and keep an eye out for over 30 WWII ships sitting beneath crystal clear waters on the ocean floor.
If you haven’t indulged in any specialty dining by now, the next two days at sea are the perfect time to dine at Aqualina and Prime C. In Palau, Koror is the archipelago’s most populous city. Here, modern meets traditional with historic monuments and unique museums intermingled with eclectic shops and trendy restaurants. Take two more days at sea, then it’s on to an overnight in Manila—a city with more sights to see than Imelda Marcos had shoes. Explore Intramuros, the remnants of a walled Spanish settlement from 1751, the world’s largest Chinatown, and intriguing, engaging museums. A final sea day follows before your voyage concludes with an overnight in Hong Kong. Trek to the top of Victoria Peak, take a sampan boat ride through the Aberdeen Floating community, and practice your bartering skills at Stanley Market.
