Immerse yourself in the realm of knights on this musical journey to the historic Grand Master’s Palace in Rhodes. In 1300, during the Crusades, the Knights of Saint John took possession of the island of Rhodes. These knights called themselves the Knights of Rhodes. They fortified the city, turning the island into a Bishop’s See. Clergy were appointed and churches were built. The Grand Master’s Palace was originally built in the 7th century as a Byzantine Citadel and was converted by the knights into a palace used by their grand master. On this AzAmazing Evening, you’ll journey to this magnificent palace. Beneath the ramparts, towers, and walls, marvel at the knights in shining armor and the crackling torches lighting your way.
