Maximize your time in Bermuda on a tour that combines sightseeing and mountain biking along a famous railway trail, followed by a refreshing swim at the beach. Begin with a shuttle to the West End on your way to Ely’s Harbour. There, pick up your 21-speed mountain bike and helmet before beginning your 90-minute guided bicycle tour along the original Bermuda Railway Trail, last used by the Bermuda Railway in 1948. Take in amazing views, glorious seascapes, lush gardens and exotic flora and fauna along your way. Pedal along the mostly flat terrain, stopping to hike up to the historic Fort Scaur, built in the 1870s, and cycle by the sprawling 17th-century Mott Family Estate. After your ride, unwind at the beach, where you can opt to cool down with a swim, before returning to Hamilton.
Explore this mostly flat trail by pedal bike, once the path of Bermuda’s Railway, known as the “Rattle and Shake.”
Immerse yourself in nature: Cycle where cars and motor bikes can’t go, where natural vegetation has now reclaimed its territory.
Wind down on the beach with views of Ely's Harbor, or opt for a refreshing swim.
