Azamara Quest Visits The Arctic Circle Globe

MIAMI, July 31, 2013 – Guests on Azamara Quest’s current Norwegian Fjords and The North Cape voyage had the opportunity to experience how unique an Azamara® voyage can be.Azamara Quest’s Captain Stig took advantage of the day at sea to provide guests with the opportunity to see the Arctic Circle Globe on Vikingen Island in Norway, which marks a crossing into the Arctic Ocean. On behalf of Azamara, Azamara Quest, and Captain Stig and his Officers and Crew, Chief Engineer Ole Pederson had the privilege to present a commemorative plaque to local officials and mark the ship’s crossing of the Arctic Circle.
