Your stay here includes a tour of the Waitakere Ranges and the West Coast of the North Island, a tour of Waiheke Island’s wineries, and a guided city tour showcasing Auckland’s finest must-sees. Your three-night stay includes the additional experience of travelling to Rangitoto Island, venturing through lava onboard a 4WD road-train, and a visit to Auckland’s Sky Tower for epic views over Auckland and Hauraki Harbor.

    After breakfast, you will be taken to the local pier where you’ll board a ferry to Rangitoto Island, Auckland’s volcanic and most iconic island. Upon arrival, you’ll venture through rugged lava crop on board a 4WD road-train, while learning all about the 600-year-old volcano’s fiery past. Upon arrival at the base of the summit, enjoy a short climb to the very top for epic views. After, you’ll return to Auckland and visit the Sky Tower for more amazing views—this time over Auckland and Hauraki Harbor. The balance of the day will be at your leisure.     Today begins with a drive outside of the city to the Waitakere Ranges and the West Coast of the North Island. Once you arrive, explore a pristine rainforest packed with 1000-year-old Kauri trees, stroll the black-sand beaches, and visit the mainland gannet breeding colonies on Muriwai Beach. After, head back to Auckland for a ferry crossing to Waiheke Island where you’ll spend the afternoon trailing Waiheke Island’s renowned wineries, sampling some of the region’s best wines and stopping for lunch along the way.
