Amsterdam, the Netherlands’ capital, is a city of elaborate canals, lined by narrow gabled houses, which form the backdrop to the city’s treasure trove of museums, boutiques, dynamic dining, and creative design. On our two-night City Stay, enjoy some leisure time for familiarizing yourself with your surroundings, and a guided tour for an expert, in-depth overview of the city’s highlights, such as Dam Square, the Old Church at Begijnhof, the Jordaan District, and the floating flower markets. Following lunch at a local restaurant, your tour continues onto the Van Gogh Museum, dedicated to the works’ of the city’s most famous native son. The day concludes with a canal dinner cruise.
