Immerse yourself in the history, culture, and music of the Emerald Isle with insider access to the country’s highlights. Delve into the ancient history of the Celts, and relish unique cultural interactions and a host of extraordinary moments. In Dublin, visit St. Patrick’s Cathedral, see the Guinness Storehouse, and take a leisurely walk through the cobbled courtyards of Trinity College Library. Browse the collection at the National Museum and visit a local pub for a freshly pulled pint of Guinness. Then, head west toward Killarney, stopping at the pre-Christian fortress of the Rock of Cashel as well as Blarney Castle, to kiss the eponymous stone for the gift of eloquence.     Upon arrival, you’ll be met at the airport by your guide and taken to your hotel with time to freshen up and relax before joining an art expert for the Merrion Hotel’s famed Art Tea, that explores the establishment’s art collection followed by a traditional afternoon tea of finger sandwiches, scones, and a selection of pastries inspired by select artworks on display. Restored and refreshed, it’s time to join a local historian for an exploration of Dublin’s architecture and local culture, culminating at the Guinness storehouse. Return to your hotel via Trinity College Library, which houses one of Ireland’s treasures, the 8th-century Book of Kells. Dinner will be served at your hotel this evening.

En route, stop at the iconic Rock of Cashel and, after lunch at a local restaurant, continue on to Cork and to the iconic Blarney Castle, home to the Blarney Stone to hear about the mythical origins of the castle. According to legend, kissing the stone endows the kisser with the “gift of the gab,” and according to the castle’s proprietors, the ritual has been performed by millions of people, including statesmen, rock stars, and legends of the silver screen. After, head to Dromoland Castle, where dinner will be served.

Join your guide as you sample fine cheese, mouth-watering bread, and other savory bites. After, you’ll be assisted to Ashford Castle, where you can enjoy the beautiful grounds at your leisure with a variety of on-site activities, including falconry, fishing, a lake cruise, and horseback riding.
